Why the future of the car could have a lot to do with pencils than you think

Layers of graphene, which itself is a form of carbon molecules, creates graphite, which is commonly used in the production of pencils. Scientists have been experimenting for decades to find uses for it and Prof Elmarakbi at Sunderland believes it could be integral in how we make cars going forward.
